3. AI Systems & Automated Decision-Making

RevAI deploys artificial intelligence in several customer-facing systems. We believe in transparency about how these systems work.

AI Chat

Our AI chat system operates on dealer websites to answer customer questions, schedule appointments, and route inquiries. Chat interactions are processed in real time by large language models. Chat transcripts are stored and accessible to the dealer client. The AI identifies when a question requires human expertise and transfers the conversation to a live team member.

Voice AI

Our Voice AI system handles inbound and outbound phone calls for dealerships. Callers are informed at the beginning of each call that they are interacting with an AI system and that the call may be recorded. Voice AI processes speech in real time, provides responses, and can transfer calls to human staff. See Section 4 for detailed voice recording disclosures.

Lead Scoring

Our analytics platform uses behavioral signals — including website visits, chat interactions, form submissions, and call history — to generate lead scores. These scores help dealership staff prioritize follow-up. Lead scores inform prioritization but do not automatically approve or deny any consumer request.

Your Rights Regarding AI

  • Right to know: You can request information about how AI was used in any interaction with you
  • Right to human review: You can request that a human review any AI-driven decision or interaction
  • Right to opt out: You can opt out of AI-driven processing by contacting us at artur@getrevai.ai
  • Right to explanation: You can request an explanation of how automated decisions were made

4. Voice Recording Disclosure

When Recordings Occur

Voice recordings are made when calls are handled by our Voice AI system. This includes inbound calls to dealer phone numbers routed through our platform and outbound calls initiated by our system.

Caller Notification

All callers receive an audio disclosure at the beginning of the call informing them that: (1) they are speaking with an AI system, (2) the call may be recorded, and (3) they can request to speak with a human at any time.

Storage & Security

Voice recordings are encrypted in transit and at rest. Recordings are stored on secure servers located in the United States. Default retention period is 90 days, configurable by the dealer client.

Access

Recordings are accessible to authorized dealer staff and RevAI support personnel (with dealer permission only). Recordings are not shared with any third party except as required by law.

Two-Party Consent States

For calls involving parties in two-party consent states (California, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Washington), our system provides the required notification and obtains consent before recording begins.

Deletion

  • Recordings are automatically deleted after the retention period
  • Consumers can request immediate deletion by contacting the dealer or RevAI
  • All recordings are deleted within 30 days of dealer contract termination

5. Data Ownership & Portability

Your data belongs to you. This is not just a policy — it is a core principle of how we operate.

For Dealer Clients

  • Full ownership: All data generated through our platform — leads, chat transcripts, voice recordings, analytics, website content — belongs to the dealer
  • Export anytime: Request a full data export at any time. Supported formats: CSV, JSON, or API access
  • Export timeline: Data exports are delivered within 5 business days of request
  • Post-termination: Upon contract termination, we provide a complete data export and delete all dealer data from our systems within 30 days
  • No lock-in: We never hold data to prevent you from switching providers. Your data leaves when you leave

For Consumers

  • Access: You can request a copy of any personal data we hold about you
  • Deletion: You can request deletion of your personal data. We fulfill deletion requests within 48 hours
  • Portability: You can request your data in a machine-readable format (JSON)

6. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell, trade, or rent personal information. We share data only in these circumstances:

  • Service providers: Trusted third parties who help us operate our services (hosting, AI model providers, analytics platforms), bound by data processing agreements and confidentiality obligations

  • Legal requirements: When required to comply with law, regulation, subpoena, or legal process
  • Safety: To protect the rights, safety, or property of RevAI, our users, or others
  • Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to affected parties
